Research Around the World

The international research webpage that I chose was EECERA, European Early Childhood Education Research Association. Some of the current international research topics on the website focus on early childhood and play, math topics and connections between teachers and parents. There was a new ideas that I gained from exploring this website, it was by looking into one of the research topics on the page. The topic was how children learn math when they are out shopping with their families. It was interesting to me because this was something that never crossed my mind, but on the other hand, it is a very true research topic. Children learn so much from going out with families and shopping, this is because they are counting, adding and exposing themselves math in indirect ways that are fun to them and also educational.
